Members of our monthly group Find joy and fun in poetry, which has been running for six months and meets on Zoom on the first Wednesday of the month, have so far shared a total of 35 poems – an eclectic mix of poets, styles and topics. It’s a small and informal group which gives an opportunity for each participant to share a light, uplifting or amusing poem and chat about it without rushing. A second group has just been set up which will meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 9.30am for about an hour. It will run on the same lines as the first group and new members are welcome.
