Military History
Members of the Military History Group are encouraged to give talks/ PowerPoint presentations on any aspect of military history they are interested in, via Zoom, whether it be battles, campaigns, personalities, weapons development, family history, or personal experience. Members have presented a wide range of interesting subjects covering conflicts from different periods of history and from different parts of the globe. Presentations are followed by a discussion on the subject matter. The subject matter is chosen by individual members. There is no compulsion for members to make presentations, but it is encouraged. New members are welcome; no qualifications are required except an enthusiasm for military history and an email address which members are expected to share with other members to continue the conversations outside the Zoom meeting.
